Dear Pastor/Elder,

Thank you for your interest in partnering with us as a local resource for those who come to Setting Captives Free. To request placement on our list of affiliate churches, we ask that you complete the affiliate partnership form below.

Affiliate churches receive our highest recommendation. All who enroll in our courses will automatically be provided with a list of affiliate churches and our mentors are given have a list of affiliate churches to which they may refer their students.

As you may imagine, finding sound churches for students may be quite a task, especially when you consider that we average approximately 100 new enrollments per day from all over the world. To expedite this process, we are actively seeking partner churches.

Requirements for Affiliate Churches

Becoming an affiliate church is an opportunity to partner with Setting Captives Free in a dynamic way. Affiliate churches are required to provide the following three items:

  • Mentorship for students in Setting Captives Free courses through at least one (preferably two) member who is actively mentoring with Setting Captives Free.

  • We request that affiliate churches support Setting Captives Free as a mission through ongoing prayer and financial support, if possible.

  • Completion of the ten questions listed below

Question 1. Does your church believe that God’s Word is the all-sufficient rule for faith and practice and that it contains all we need for life and godliness?
 
 
Question 2. Does your church believe that we are justified by grace alone, through Christ alone, apart from our works and that true justification enables good works in the life of the believer?
 
 
Question 3. Does your church believe that sanctification in the life of the believer is the evidence of the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit?
 
 
Question 4. Does your church believe that genuine repentance is not merely assenting to certain facts and truths, but an actual turning from sin to embrace the living Christ?
 
 
Question 5. Does your church have leaders who care for the flock and does it teach that care for one another (accountability) is a vital part of church life?
 
 
Question 6. Does your church believe that those who are captive to sin can indeed be set free without the use of psychiatry and psychology?
 
 
Question 7. Does your church believe in and preach the second coming of Christ as the hope that will help to purify us?
 
 
Question 8. Please explain briefly how you would care for those we recommend to your church; what plans do you have in place to love and care for them, teach and guide them?
