Setting Captives Free Receives 50,000th Student Enrollment

March 1, 2004, MEDINA, OH - Today Setting Captives Free (SCF) announced receiving 50,000th student enrollment. Setting Captives Free exists to offer Christ-centered Hope and Freedom to those in the grip of sin through accountability to Bible-based Truth resulting in the true enjoyment of Life in and for the Glory of God.

"Our objective at Setting Captives Free is to see sin captives released for God’s glory and to see God’s Name and Word exalted above all things," says Mike Cleveland, President and Team Member at SCF. "God’s grace is indeed stronger than the pull of sin!"

Current online course offerings include:

Pure Freedom - Freedom from sexual impurity (available in Spanish)

A United Front - Freedom and encouragement for spouses

Lord’s Table - Freedom from overeating

Door of Hope - Freedom from homosexuality

Breath of Life - Freedom from smoking

New Wine - Freedom from alcohol and drugs

Purity Force Challenge - Maintaining teen purity

Total satisfaction - Enjoying the grace, goodness and glory of God

All courses are available free of charge. Each student is matched with a mentor whose goal it is to help the student profit from and apply the Word to his or her life, and to pray for each student on a daily basis. Setting Captives Free was started in January, 2000.
