The Lord's Table-II Testimony

The course is so good. There just isn't anything else like it. Although not directly part of the course, I got a lot out of contacting other people going through the course at the same time. The Yahoo TLT 2 blog group was very sparse- wish it had more activity



Well, this was my second time through and it was rather different than the first time. At the beginning of the fast I wrote down some of the areas that I knew God had been leading me to work on in my spiritual life including my self discipline, faith, desiring the Word, memorizing scripture and less chewing of food. My fasting time was rather quiet. I spent time in the Word and prayer. I asked God if He could just spend some time holding me and I think He was gracious to do so. I could feel Him holding me as I fought the desire for food and my anger. While I can't tell you it was a spiritual mountaintop experience, I can say He was merciful and kind to me. Many moments it was just me and Him. He is worthy of my praise.
